The plating can isolate the diamond from oxygen to prevent the diamond being oxidized due to the high temperature, which can improve the mechanical retention characteristics of diamond, and improve the heat dissipation and polishing life.

Low toughness, comparatively regular shape, low transparency, 

low impact resistance and low thermal stability. Applied for 

making the diamond cutting and grinding tools with 

medium-low load.

Low to Medium toughness, semi-blocky shape, low to medium 

transparency and impact resistance, low thermal stability. Applied 

for making diamond blade or girnding wheels for general application.

SND84020/25-70/80

Complete shape of cubo-octahedron, medium toughness and 

good wear resistance. Applied for making most of the medium 

quality diamond blade, core bits, electroplate diamond tools for 

stone and concrete.

SND86020/25-70/80

Medium to high toughness, Blocky crystal shape, medium to high 

transparency and impact resistance, with relatively high thermal 

stability. Applied for diamond sawing tools and geological tools.

SND87030/35-70/80

High toughness and stable thermal stability, applied for the heavy 

impact loading diamond cutting, diamond coring, diamond wiring 

on the hard concrete and stone

SND88020/25-70/80

High toughness, complete shape with straight crystal edges, good
